I am beyond excited to share the beautiful love story of Christin and Lee’s wedding day, which took place on March 2, 2024. From the early morning moments with the bridesmaids to the joyous sparkler exit as husband and wife, every part of this day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Getting Ready at the Airbnb
The day began in the cozy confines of a beautiful Airbnb, where the bridesmaids gathered in their adorable PJ’s, courtesy of the thoughtful bride, Christin. With final makeup touches and a fun champagne pop, they transformed into radiant beauties ready to celebrate the love of their dear friends.
Bridesmaids Portraits at The Farrell
Before heading to the ceremony venue, we made a quick stop at The Farrell in downtown Homewood for some fun bridesmaids portraits against a stunning mural wall. Laughter filled the air as they posed, their excitement building for the moments ahead.
Christin’s First Look with her Dad at Samford
I had a really sweet moment with Christin’s Father as we prepped him for his first look with his first born daughter. He couldn’t get over how wonderful it was to have Lee (his future son in law) marry his daughter. The night before at the Rehearsal dinner Christin and Lee’s friends encouraged them in the Lord. Mr. Eckerle was very encouraged for this union and it was beautiful to witness.
The Stunning Bride & Groom First Look
Arriving at Samford, we witnessed the breathtaking first look between Christin and Lee. Amidst the serene beauty of the campus, they shared heartfelt letters and cherished a brief moment alone before we captured their love in portraits against Samford’s picturesque backdrop.
Celebrating with Bridal Party and Family Portraits
Next, we welcomed the bridal party, capturing the essence of the friends and family who had played pivotal roles in shaping Christin and Lee’s journey to this moment. Family portraits followed, each frame radiating with the love and support surrounding the couple.
Prayers and the Ceremony
Before entering the sanctuary, Christin’s bridesmaids prayed over her, while Lee’s groomsmen offered prayers of support and love. The ceremony itself was a stunning celebration of their union, with not a dry eye in the bridal party as Christin and Lee exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
Sunset Portraits and Reception Festivities
Following the ceremony, Christin and Lee stayed behind for some breathtaking sunset portraits, capturing the golden glow of their love. Joining the bridal party on the trolley, they made their way to the reception, ready to dance the night away, cut the cake, and share unforgettable first dances.
