At Katherine Horton Photography, every client and every moment is unique and special. There’s something truly magical about capturing the love stories that unfold in front of our lenses. And when those stories connect through family ties, it becomes an even more cherished experience. I am thrilled to share a little bit about Breagan and Alex, a couple who made photographing them an absolute dream. What makes this session even more heartwarming is that I had the privilege of photographing Breagan’s brother Blayze and his wife Addison’s wedding in 2022, and now, I get to document this beautiful chapter of Breagan and Alex’s love story as they prepare to tie the knot in May 2024.
Breagan and Alex’s engagement session took place on a picturesque afternoon at the lake. The natural beauty of the location perfectly complemented the natural beauty of this couple’s love. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this session was going to be special.
One thing that made this engagement session truly unique was our adventurous couple’s willingness to explore the unknown. We started our journey by “trespassing” into a few fields. Breagan and Alex’s sense of adventure and their trust in our vision allowed us to capture some truly breathtaking shots. The couple’s genuine excitement and laughter made it clear that they were having the time of their lives.
As the day unfolded, we made our way to the water’s edge. Breagan and Alex decided to take the plunge – literally! With the lake as their backdrop, they jumped into the water, creating some of the most memorable and candid moments of the session. The splash of water and the glow of the sun against their smiles made for some stunning photographs that perfectly captured their love and joy.
Photographing Breagan and Alex was an absolute privilege. Their chemistry was palpable, and their love for each other shone through every frame. They shared sweet moments, whispered secrets, and embraced each other under the open sky, creating a collection of photographs that will serve as a beautiful testament to their love story for years to come.
